Agricultural Engineer from the University of Armed Forces ESPE – Faculty of Agricultural Sciences IASA, PhD candidate in Protected Agriculture at the University of Almeria – Spain, with a Master’s Degree and Specialization in Soil and Plant Nutrition from the Central University of Ecuador and a Master’s Degree in Plant Physiology of Fruit and Vegetable Crops in Mexico.
He has received several national and international specialization courses in the areas of Plant Physiology, Advanced Nutrition, Fertigation, Greenhouse Climate Management, Genetics, Advanced Hydroponics and Aquaponics of Fruit, Horticultural and Ornamental Crops, at the University of Florida Gainesville – USA, Cornell University – USA, Postgraduate College – Mexico. He has participated as a speaker in several national and international congresses and symposiums. He has collaborated in research related to plant physiology, water management, nutrient absorption-extraction and analysis of mathematical models of physio-morphological development of horticultural, fruit and ornamental crops, and in the development of nutritional technologies and biostimulants with the use of bioactive compounds and elicitors to mitigate biotic and abiotic stresses. He is currently Production Advisor in Agricultural Project Diagnostics – Export Certifications, Plant Physiology and Nutrition, for several important agro-exporting groups and companies in Horticultural, Fruit, Ornamentals (Roses – Summer Flowers) and Berries (Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries), Tobacco, Pineapple, Soursop, Grapes, Medicinal Cannabis, Avocado, Mango, Hickory, Broccoli, Tomato, Cucumber, Pepper, Roses, and Carnations in Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Spain, Canada, USA and Central America.
