Ph.D. Carlos Muñoz Schick
Full professor at the University of Chile in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, where he directs the blueberry breeding program
Carlos Muñoz Schick, completed his university studies in the University of Chile, where he obtained the title of Engineer Agronomist in 1971. Then he studied postgraduate studies in the University of Florida in the United States, where in 1981 obtained the degree of Master of Science (M.S.) in plant physiology and, in 1984, the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in genetic improvement and biotechnology. Have a vast experience in blueberry cultivation, dating back to 1979, when he introduced the species to Chile.
